2. Turn-around and revisions

Turn-around times vary depending on the service requested, but we will get to it A.S.A.P.

We will lay out a time-line for you and keep an open line of communication throughout the project so you’re involved in every step.

Editing and Re-Arranging

There are crucial steps which normally go unseen in the Production process, as is Editing, Vocal Aligning, Vocal Tuning, Re-Arranging and Vocal Tuning.

These steps set the groundwork for an amazing project and therefore need the care and detail of an experienced set of ears.

From editing less than desirable performances to re-arranging a whole song, we offer top of the line service and impeccable quality while maintaining the essence of your project intact.

FAQs

What software do you use to edit?

We mainly use ProTools as our DAW and for Vocal editing we are equipped with Celemony Melodyne and Antares Auto-tune. That being said, no software can substitute an experienced set of ears.

What files do I need to send you for editing?

That depends on the editing service, but in most cases we will ask for a vocal track and a no-vocals stereo mix of the song. Same applies for any other instrument editing, we would request an audio file for the instrument and a stereo bounce without it.

Why should I edit my projects?

Detailed and precise editing is crucial to any project. If editing is sub-par you may have audio artifacts, which refer to random noises along your tracks, out of tune performances and out of time tracks.

Can something be done if my performance has a lot of stage noise ?

We use cutting edge editing software which gives us the ability to really narrow down on specific sounds and remove them. In other words, unless the noise is louder than the track itself, we can fix it.
